Why the CFO should be your new friend
There was recently a good article about how CIOs can make friends with chief marketing officers and the value in building that relationship. The same is true, and maybe even truer, when it comes to the CFO. Tech leaders would be wise to not only make friends, but become allies with the CFO and provide as much insight, guidance and knowledge as possible about the role tech plays within businesses today. It wouldn't hurt for any CIO to learn as much as possible about budgeting processes and financial business strategies either.
