Where business travel tools are heading

This week's thwarted terrorist plot to blow up airliners is also highlighting the various new technologies federal agencies have put in place to detect criminal activity and potential danger at airports. But as several pundits have pointed out, there's still plenty of work to do in deploying identity management systems and adopting emerging technology, such as biometrics, into the every day world. Yet it isn't hard to envision how all of today's advanced tools and technical capabilities will change how business operates, the process of business travel and communications in and out of the enterprise.
