When HR doesn't get it
It's hard enough to teach the IT staff how to make things work. It's even harder to make sure the Human Resources Department understands the needs of the IT workforce, according to a Deloitte survey, Competing for Talent. Today's HR departments need to offer flexible schedules, work-from-home options and a less rigid work environment. This mean that HR must work hand-in-hand with the IT department to create the best situations, in order to attract a talented workforce.
