What Microsoft hopes its CRM push will achieve

Just a bit ago, Microsoft made it clear it was hungry to grab some of the security services marketshare. Now it's also gunning for a piece of the customer relationship management (CRM) pie as well and announced this week it's primed to go head-to-head with industry leader Salesforce.com to make it happen. Microsoft's CEO Steven Ballmer outlined his company's intentions, explained what the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM Live is all about and how it ties into all the other Web-based service efforts it's working on these days.
