Web 2.0 for the enterprise
The Web has entered a new phase, sometimes dubbed Web 2.0 by pundits. Web 2.0 expands on the traditional idea of the Internet by using the web as a platform for interaction and collaboration. That means that more than ever before, users can edit content on Web sites, start their own blogs and join social networking sites. To join the club, companies must first have a development framework for building or reworking existing Internet applications using state-of-the-art technologies like Flash and JavaScript. Other useful skills include expertise in the .NET and ASP.NET AJAX development platforms. But it can take time for companies to adjust to the new technologies, and business user adoption will take time as well.
