VoIP hacker charged with stealing 10M minutes

The FBI is prosecuting a Miami man for wire fraud for violating computer hacking laws and stealing 10 million Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service minutes from the networks of over a dozen VoIP providers. He allegedly resold the stolen service time to consumers for as little as four cents a minute. According to the FBI, the man behind the scheme, Edwin Pena, enlisted the help of a hacker and paid him $20,000 to break into the VoIP vendors' networks.
