Vendors debut PatchGuard alternatives

The ongoing battle between Microsoft and security vendors over the issue of PatchGuard is gaining credence with more third-party vendors. Authentium has debuted a fix to circumvent PatchGuard completely and while it initially proudly touted its new strategy, it's now pulling back a little given the confrontational scenario that it was facing. However, other vendors like Agnitum aren't shy about moving forward with their own PatchGuard workarounds.
