Trio aims to improve Web searching

Three technology giants are intent on making online data searching easier. Yahoo, Google and Microsoft are launching united support for Sitemaps .90, a protocol that lets website operators provide search engines with more information on content. The unified format will help make websites more visible, accessible and searchable.
