Top worms list has a familiar ring
An FTP bug held its spot at the top of Panda Software's Top 10 list of viruses for the month of September. The Sdbot.ftp worm downloads to PCs via the FTP route and it's been most damaging abroad with big infection rates in Mexico, Poland and Chile. Coming up second was the all to familiar Netsky.P worm that does its damage through Internet Explorer. The fact that Netsky is so high on the list is a clear indication that enterprises still have a lot of work to do when it comes to protecting against worms and viruses, says Panda.
