Time for an ethics strategy revamp?
The recent brouhaha at Morgan Stanley about tech leaders allegedly taking gifts and conducting unethical business transactions should be of note for today's IT executives. Many IT execs are now reviewing their internal operations and business dealings to ensure they don't get caught up in the same firestorm of controversy. As one CIO relates, a little paranoia is a healthy attribute for tech teams today. Given all the rules and regulations on what executives can do and not do when working with vendors and partners, it's a good time to make sure there is a strong ethics strategy in place and working.
