Tight labor market spurs unique hiring strategies
It's a tough hiring market for tech leaders who are scrambling to pull in needed skills and IT managers. As one contracting firm owner notes, it's an employee market and given the increased hiring expectations it's going to stay that way for awhile. The worker shortage is prompting some companies to take unique paths to pulling new staff on board. One company, realizing that the worker shortage is worse in some regions than others, is hiring in different states and re-organizing IT locations to accommodate the strategy.
