Third-party patch debate continues
While Microsoft will release a patch next week for the current IE security flaw, third-party patches have arrived already and reignited the debate over the value of such solutions. For its part Microsoft says that the fixes could cause more security issues and put other enterprise aspects in danger. Yet advocates of third-party patches believe there is no other option unless Microsoft gets more reactive and responds quicker to vulnerabilities and want Microsoft to at least put out temporary fixes while finishing off final patches.
