The need for better encryption in financial sector
IT leaders within the financial services sector have some work cut out when it comes to protecting confidential and valuable data. According to a new research report from Ingrian Networks, just about half of enterprises surveyed believe they've got good encryption technologies in place. The scary thing though is that only 35 percent reported that sensitive data on tape was encrypted, meaning there's great risk of potential theft and loss.
