The future business plan for Lenovo
It seems like it's been a lot longer since Lenovo took over IBM's PC unit six months ago, but the vendor has been very busy since then. It kept some IBM leaders, launched some new products and is now looking to break out its own identity, hopefully in time to shore up revenue and regain the momentum it initially had on the acquisition news. The goal is to start selling some low-cost PCs and laptops and gain some needed market share with a new brand name--Lenovo 3000s.
