It can be hard for any IT staff to keep track of everything that is happening in their shop at any given moment. One answer to this common problem is a CIO dashboard that identifies and gathers relevant information in a company's internal system. This way, IT executives can get a bird's eye view of what is going on in his shop, without spending too much time gathering details from one end of the building to the other.
