Tech dollars earmarked for Democrats

The technology industry, corporate political action committees and individuals have contributed more than $15 million so far to U.S. presidential candidates and parties for the 2008 election. More than half of the money--61 percent--has gone to Democrats, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. The most Democratic-friendly company was Yahoo and Microsoft was a close second. Those associated with Intel, on the other hand, gave more than half of their donations to Republicans.
