Take care of your Intranet

Your corporate Intranet may be as important as your Internet connection. But plenty of IT executives have neglected their Intranet and have failed to remember the importance of internal communications. Here are several Intranet maintenance tips to follow:

• Don't assume that a one-size-fits-all homepage works for everybody.
• Don't force users to mentally filter content displayed on the corporate welcome page.
• Don't create a one-way communication page.
• Make it easy for people to contribute and publish information. After all, an Intranet is only as good the content that is available.
