Symantec notes more Vista security issues

As if tech leaders needed another reason not to jump to Vista once it appears late this year, security researchers are claiming the system's kernel thwarts using advanced security and antivirus programs, according to Symantec. In its third of a series of white papers on the new Windows operating system, the security vendor investigates the new OS kernel security features and how Microsoft's effort to limit platform and kernel tinkering actually may work to malware writers' favor and against enterprise security efforts.
