Symantec busy, busy, busy

This has to be one of the most exciting, and definitely most challenging, of times for security vendor Symantec. First there's new competition everywhere, especially from Microsoft. Then it's been dealing with hack and vulnerability issues in its own products. And on top of all that the vendor is furiously working to build a security service for its 50 million-plus customer base. Symantec's tagged the project "Security 2.0," and it will boast a slew of new products tied to an identification system in which users will provide insight on whom they trust. There's also major work going on with the vendor's Norton product line.
