Swapping firewalls not quick and easy
If you're thinking of flipping in a new firewall setup, you have to first consider the very real integration issues you're likely to face. The problem is that vendors define access control rules very differently, so switching to a new brand of firewall could mean doing a lot of other switching out as well. A great deal of that work will likely have to be done manually, which will take at least a few months of project time if everything goes as planned.
