Supermarket employee data goes missing
Another week, another laptop data loss, this time holding information on a grocery store's retiree employment base. It seems a data processing consultant checked the laptop as baggage while traveling and the laptop then disappeared. The company involved, Ahold USA, says there's no evidence the information has been misused, but is providing little information about when the incident happened, where, and what specific information was housed on the device.
