Taking a look at the plan may also give you an idea of where your company can benefit and gain a slice of the rich stimulus pie. There will be plenty of money for projects that are ready to go and fit the guidelines. There will be money available to expand broadband into rural areas of America and funds for lots of other IT projects, including energy and healthcare initiatives.

It sounds so easy, but we all know that it really isn't. There will be no blank check, and there will be expectations that this money will be spent wisely, help jump start the economy and provide the needed grease to get America on the road to recovery. 

Companies that are receiving bailout money from Congress--and that includes financial institutions--also have to put a cap on how much they play their top executives and what kind of bonuses they get each year.
