Another big company, this time insurance firm Aetna, has reported a stolen laptop incident which has compromised personal data. In this case, personal information of nearly 40,000 customers fell into the wrong hands when the laptop was stolen from an employee's car. The data housed includes social security numbers, names and addresses, though no personal banking or health information. So far, according to Aetna, the data hasn't been used for illegal or criminal purposes. Article
