The Department of Homeland Security has established a team of investigators to uncover and detect vulnerabilities in open source technologies. The reason? It says that since so much of its infrastructure runs on open source, it needs to determine each and every possible vulnerability. The project is drawing mixed reactions, however, as it doesn't seem the DHS is interested in fixing or patching whatever holes the team may find. Article
