SPOTLIGHT: Email virus load takes a dive
Finally, some good news on the IT security front. It seems email spam dropped considerably last month. The bad news, however, is that malware writers are just focusing on other avenues to dupe victims. Experts say the drop-off in nasty email shouldn't be construed as email becoming more secure, as the communications medium is just being used differently for the same illegal and criminal purposes.
