Now that the long court battle is over regarding the patents on the BlackBerry device, its maker, Research In Motion, aims to change patent law and is going to fight for a better "balance." In a public online letter, RIM's CEO says there's work to be done to fix the system of patent regulation so that product users don't ever end up in the quagmire that BlackBerry users found themselves in for so long.
