SMiShing is latest threat to cell phones
Get ready for the latest mobile threat: a message that tries to lure cell phone users into clicking a link to a site where a Trojan is downloaded to their mobile device. Security vendor McAfee is calling this latest scam "SMiShing" as the vulnerability is tied to Short Message Service. There are already reports that cell phone users are being tricked by messages claiming they'll be charged for a service they never signed up for unless they click a link to correct the problem. This new vulnerability news comes hot on the heels of a new worm aimed at the mobile device user.
