Small reprieve for BlackBerry users
The BlackBerry you're holding is still working thanks to a judge who stayed execution on Friday of an order that could have terminated service for every Research In Motion (RIM) customer. But don't get too comfortable; the judge says he could move toward injunction at a later date over the patent dispute regarding RIM and NTP, the patent holding company. According to experts, the judge is likely going to put great pressure on both players to agree to some sort of settlement that wouldn't impact the millions of BlackBerry users.
