Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is looking for answers from the Bush administration, and soon. Grassley wants to know what progress has been made to make administrative changes to ease the difficulty in getting H-1B visas for highly skilled foreign workers, including those skilled for technology jobs.

Last year, Grassley asked Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff to study and report on potential reforms for getting the highly sought work visas. Congress, though, has yet to receive word on any potential solutions.

Sen. Grassley needs to "Rethink this H1B speed-up plan" and realize the damage to the US IT "homegrown" jobs that MANY AMERICANS WANT! Why would the USA "disincentivize" millions of Americans in studying Technology ONLY to GIVE the jobs to foreigners? That makes NO SENSE. LET AMERICANS WORK! Let the salaries RISE in IT ! Don't let the US Govt. dictate specialty influx of jobs from foreign lands when HARD WORKING AMERICANS CAN DO THE JOBS and WANT to WORK in the IT field.
