Security patches arrive for Vista beta
In what has to be a first of a kind scenario, Microsoft has actually issued two security patches for its upcoming operating system, Vista, which hasn't even hit the shelves yet. According to the vendor two of the seven critical patches released last week should also be applied to the Vista Beta 2 preview. The news has drawn ire from security folks given the system is in wide beta at this point and the fact that Microsoft didn't really make the Vista vulnerabilities clear when issuing the security bulletin.
