Security patch flaws still an issue
The headaches brought on by this month's Microsoft patch release just keep coming. Now it seems one of the patches actually erases the address book function in Outlook Express. While the patch, security bulletin MS06-016, can be uninstalled, users need to modify the automatic security download program if it's running or the patch will be downloaded again. Microsoft is looking into the issue, but that doesn't seem to be soothing users' bad feelings.
