RIM gets workaround in place

Research In Motion (RIM), the BlackBerry maker, is polishing off a final version of a workaround plan just in case it has to yank NTP technology from its devices and systems infrastructure. While the technology is the focus of patent hearings and court time, RIM's been busy trying to figure out how to keep its customers happy and on board if it loses the civil battle. To avoid its current situation RIM has very smartly already filed for a patent on its workaround software solution.
