Cisco is issuing a startling new report about the security risks related to remote users and company networks. The vendor says that unsafe behavior of just under a dozen remote workers in a company with 100 employees can bring down the entire network and compromise corporate and personal information. In the study, over 1,000 workers in 10 countries opened emails that they were not expecting or familiar with and allowed others access to their company PC and network. As one expert notes, it just takes one breach to cause havoc and if your staff is working remotely on a global level, you're likely to experience one sooner or later.
