QuickTime flaw a risk to all machines

A new QuickTime vulnerability is putting both Windows and Apple machines at risk, as the "highly critical" flaw can grant remote attackers have access to user account options. The security issue can be triggered using JavaScript, common links or any method that initiates QuickTime operation. According to security experts, the vulnerability can be fixed by shutting down support for Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) until a patch is issued.
