Phishers using BBC news to infect PCs

Online criminals are using actual BBC News stories to lure unsuspecting PC users to a phony Web site that then injects password-theft software into their systems via an exploit in Internet Explorer. According to Websense Security Labs, the new phishing scheme is one of the most dangerous yet, though it's still unknown how many PCs have been infected. The BBC is going all out to let people know about the phony news emails, and Microsoft is still readying a patch for the browser vulnerability.
