Philly's wireless network readies for takeoff

The effort to bring a citywide wireless network to Philadelphia is getting off the ground as city officials have approved a plan to wire 135 sq. mi. with EarthLink operating as the network developer and administrator. The $22 million project should be up and running in 2007.
