Microsoft is experiencing some difficulty getting this month's Patch Tuesday fixes out to clients, due to some "network issues" on its Update platform. More than a few of the whopping 26 patches released will fix critical issues within the .Net, Windows and Office environments. The vendor said it hoped to have the Update glitch fixed by late yesterday so that enterprises could quickly get going on fixing the vulnerabilities and said that users could manually download the patches by clicking on links in Microsoft's Security Bulletin pages. And, by the way, this month's load of patches puts Microsoft way past its record-setting number of patches released in 2002.
