Ozzie, Mundie step into new roles
As Bill Gates begins to extricate himself from the day-to-day operations of Microsoft, his right-hand men, Ray Ozzie and Craig Mundie, are stepping into new strategy roles. Ozzie plans to continue directing the vendor's services strategy as well as taking the reins as chief architect. Mundie will be directing Microsoft's research arm and focusing on intellectual property and policy issues.
