Outsourcing beyond India

As wages paid to tech workers in India continue to rise, some IT executives are looking to other, less costly alternatives. CIOs and IT managers generally feel that moving work to other countries wouldn't be a significant problem problem. The most important thing, executives say, is that all service providers follow standardized processes and are held to the same standards. But in some cases, country-specific locations remain a selling point. Wages aren't always the most important reason for choosing a specific country; sometimes time zone and skill advantage are part of the mix.
