Oracle vulnerabilities rated as critical
It's been a tough week for Oracle, as vulnerabilities with the vendor's products have been reported left and right. While Oracle doesn't rank its flaws like Apple or Microsoft, the quarterly batch of patches for 36 vulnerabilities did include fixes for some critical issues, according to top security vendors. Symantec, for instance, sent alerts to customers noting the patching work was a 10, its highest alert ranking. Another security player, Secunia, tagged one of the fixes as "highly critical."
