Oracle announces latest job force action
The other shoe is finally dropping in regards to the Oracle acquisition of Siebel Systems--Oracle will announced 1,000 job cuts next Tuesday, according to various news reports. The job force reduction doesn't come as any big surprise and could mean job losses as Oracle is taking on 4,700 Siebel employees. Oracle, remember, did cut its own staff after taking over PeopleSoft last year.
