New worm on prowl for mobile devices
Just on the heels of some new insights on how mobile malware is increasing comes a new security alert from a Russian researcher, who reports that a new aggressive worm is using Bluetooth and memory cards to infect phones and other mobile devices. The malware, Commwarrior.Q, moves from phone to phone using a Bluetooth connection, according to F-Secure Corp., the security vendor who detected the new threat. While it's not moving at the speed of light right now, the worm's sophisticated nature and aggressiveness is warranting concern.
