New products debut at Interop
The upcoming Interop show, to be held in Las Vegas May 20-25, will include many new product introductions. Some of the most interesting include:
- 123Together.com introduces new tools to help mid-sized companies migrate to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.
- Alcatel-Lucent will introduce its networking security products OmniAccess 3500 Nonstop Laptop Guardian, providing 24/7 management, security, encryption and theft protection of corporate laptops, and OmniAccess Safeguard, which secures networks based on user access control.
- EMA will announce Advisory Notes Service, a service solution for IT management professionals requiring third-party, unbiased intelligence on topics ranging from CMDB to IT Governance to Virtualization.
- The Ethernet Alliance showcases the latest Ethernet technologies, including 10GBASE-LRM, 10GBASE-T, Backplane Ethernet, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and Data Center. The Ethernet Alliance will also demonstrate multi-vendor interoperability for 10GBASE-KR, 10GBASE-LRM, 10GBASE-T and PoE.
- Firetide will demonstrate its latest mesh solutions for wireless video, VoIP and data.
- IBM will unveil a high-speed intrusion prevention appliance designed to operate at the network core and to meet the needs of large enterprise or carrier deployments.
- Netreo will showcase OmniCenter(R) Flow, a simplified system for NetFlow traffic monitoring.
- Network Instruments will launch a new portable version of its GigaStor appliance.
- NextComputing will be introducing the first portable computers to incorporate 8 processing cores.
- Orchestria will be delivering an electronic control platform for all messaging, transactions, email and files.
- Raritan will be showcasing its next-generation suite of solutions to simplify data center and branch office management.
