New PowerPoint flaw requires patching

While there are likely a few enterprises still patching like crazy following Microsoft's recent Patch Tuesday release of 26 fixes, there's a new flaw to add to the list. This time it's a proof of concept code vulnerability in PowerPoint, says Microsoft, and it can let attackers execute malicious code on a PC if the user clicks on a presentation file sent by the hacker. While no attacks have yet been reported, security experts are tagging the malware as "highly critical."
