Mobile spyware with a new twist

Well, the first mobile spyware attack has now been identified, and not only is it sophisticated but it also offers a new twist. According to security vendor McAfee, the spyware app targets the Symbian mobile phone system and tracks the text messages sent. It also copies the log file of phone numbers stored for both in and outbound calls. The malware features a variant of the MultiDropper mobile phone Trojan--which McAfee has termed the SymbOS/MultiDropper.CG.
