Mobile computing faces plenty of hurdles

Mobile computing for the enterprise is a fine idea, but it has a long way to go before things can be truly efficient.

A new study finds that browsing the web on the go is just too hard and clumsy, *sigh*. The study, by research firm Nielsen Norman Group, found that cell phone users had only a 59 percent success rate when tasking on the Internet compared to an 80 percent success rate while on a PC.

There are plenty of reasons: Small screens, awkward input, download delays and badly designed websites. The solution may be coming in the future. A smart entrepreneur is sure to come up with a better, mobile device or OS to make all of this possible. Are bigger screens and better websites the easy answer?
