Microsoft to debut BlackBerry service alternative

The one thing you can't say about Microsoft is that they let good opportunities to hit new markets get by them. First they announced they were going full-bore into security with a service competing directly with Symantec. Now Redmond has crafted a BlackBerry alternative--called the Windows Mobile E-Mail--along with Vodafone in hopes that Research In Motion loses its BlackBerry service in an ongoing patent suit. The Windows product is expected to be rolled out this year in the U.S.
