Microsoft extends security olive branch

Microsoft plans to brief security vendors in an online meeting today about the upcoming security features, issues and integration concerns that security product makers have voiced in the past few months. Redmond says that security companies will be able to both access the kernel of the 64-bit system and turn off Windows Security Center.
