Microsoft council to focus on interoperability

When it comes to interoperability, Microsoft customers have been trying for years to get the tech giant's attention. They want their security issues to be addressed and their application ideas to be incorporated. Now it seems as though Microsoft has listened to at least some of the continuing pleas. The company is creating a 'client' council of 30 customers to get insight and input on how to make its products work better with other products. Given that the council is set to meet twice a year and has a big Microsoft VP at the helm, it's clearly not just a move to quiet the constant criticism about interoperability issues.
