Microchip technology draws privacy concerns
The increasing advancement of using microchips implanted in humans for medical and biomedical treatment is stirring up the debate over how invasive such chip technology is when it comes to privacy concerns and how to best regulate the use of the technology. More Americans are willing to house their medical data on a chip implanted in the skin to hopefully gain better medical care. But privacy advocates warn it's the first step to letting entities such as the government or even employers monitor and track people.
